llms.txt generator
Turn your sitemap into an editable llms.txt in seconds.
Honest note: llms.txt is an emerging convention. No major AI engine has confirmed it uses llms.txt to choose citations, so treat it as cheap insurance, not a ranking lever.
Questions
What is llms.txt?
A proposed convention (llmstxt.org): a Markdown file at /llms.txt that gives language models a short summary of your site and links to its most useful pages, the way robots.txt and sitemap.xml do for crawlers.
Does llms.txt help me show up in ChatGPT or Perplexity?
There's no good evidence yet that any major AI engine uses llms.txt when choosing what to cite. It's cheap to add and may matter later, but it won't move your AI visibility on its own. Crawlability, content and comparison pages matter far more today.
Where do I put the file?
Upload it to the root of your site so it's served at https://yourdomain.com/llms.txt as plain text.
Is my sitemap stored?
No. We fetch it once to list the URLs; the file is assembled and edited in your browser.
